Wilma is a littermate to the TDHA pup, Mr. Gist said if he was anything like Wilma, John would say he was CHEAP @ the $1500.00 bid he was on!

He was trained from a pup by laying artificial blood trails. The trails varied in length and age until he was proficient at long distance trails with as much as a 24 hr waiting period.Bow received the United Blood Trackers, Inc. “Certificate of Usefulness”, which requires a series of proficiency tests beginning with a requirement of passing a basic evaluation test, then a UBT-I test and finally a UBT-II test. All tests are under the direction of a certified UBT Judge. For those that would like to know more about blood tracking and the details of the tracking test can go to www.unitedbloodtrackers.org and click on tracking tests. The final test to obtain the “Certificate of Usefullness” was conducted in Covington, Louisiana on March 29, 2009 supervised by Alan Wade a UBT judge.
